This is the in progress portrait I am working on of Red. I am not sure what it is but, I am really enjoying the meditative process of working in this format. Listening to Bon Iver while working on this painting... Another great midwest musician.
Wow! You really have captured the inner beauty of Red. Granted, I only knew her for a couple of days, but from our conversations I really think that she is a very caring, conscientious, giving person. You could stop this project at this point and let the observer wonder what she is pondering, or daydreaming about at that exact moment. I can't wait to see the finished product.
